North Africa

•  Sudan: Approximately 5.8 million women and girls have been displaced due to ongoing conflicts.

West Africa

•  Nigeria: The Boko Haram insurgency has displaced millions, with a significant number of women and girls being abducted and subjected to violence.

•  Mali: Thousands of women and girls have been displaced due to ongoing conflicts and instability.

East Africa

•  Ethiopia: The Tigray conflict has resulted in widespread sexual violence against women and girls, with thousands reporting abuse.

•  South Sudan: Millions of women and girls have been displaced due to civil war and ongoing conflicts.

Central Africa

•  Democratic Republic of Congo: An average of 48 women and girls are raped every hour, with a study estimating 400,000 females aged 15-49 were raped over a 12-month period in 2006 and 2007.

•  Central African Republic: Thousands of women and girls have been displaced due to ongoing violence and instability.

Southern Africa

•  Mozambique: The insurgency in Cabo Delgado has displaced many, with women and girls facing significant risks.
